While building experience on the shop floor, Bob went back to school to achieve his dream of becoming an engineer, and took on more responsibility, mentoring newer teammates and leading complex projects. Erik studied criminal justice and spent years searching for a job that felt right. A friend pointed him to Lampin, where the advanced machines and precision work were intimidating at first—but the people weren’t. Experienced teammates stepped in to teach and guide him. Starting on a two-axis lathe, he built confidence one setup at a time and grew into running a multi-axis system that tackles complex parts in a single setup. Today, Mike is known for his reliability and craftsmanship, proving that drive and curiosity can turn raw experience into a high-level trade.

Keith joined Lampin as Director of Operations with an engineering degree and years of leadership experience. What impressed him most wasn’t the equipment—it was the people. He believes good leadership means understanding the work and supporting those who do it, so he spends as much time on the floor as in the office. Under his guidance, Lampin has doubled down on training, mentorship, and continuous improvement. For Keith, success is seeing people grow, take ownership, and know their work matters.
