The Las Vegas ESOP Conference and Trade Show, the largest Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) conference in the world, is being held this year on November 13-14 at Caesars Palace – and Lampin is going!
Lampin management attends these conferences to help us remain current on a variety of ESOP-related subjects, including best practices, existing legislation governing ESOPs, and potential new laws being enacted. Lampin President Bill DiBenedetto, said, “Along with the recent ESOP event we attended in Mystic, CT, this will be Lampin’s second ESOP conference in 2014. Our commitment to fully understanding best practices, as well as our responsibility to continuously improve the operation, efficiency, and profitability of our company, should never be in doubt.”
As of October 2014, there were nearly 10,000 employee-owned companies in the United States, accounting for 10% of the private-sector workforce. Lampin, a long-time member of the National ESOP Association as well as its New England chapter, is among the few 100% employee-owned manufacturing companies in the U.S.
