The survey, known as “The Ultimate Question,” generates a net promoter score, or NPS, that precisely measures how willing a company’s customers would be to recommend that company to friends and colleagues.
Lampin earned an NPS of 85.7, which means nearly all of the company’s customers would recommend Lampin to a friend or colleague. One customer called Lampin a “consistent supplier,” while another raved, “excellent on-time delivery and high-quality components.”

Lampin’s survey, conducted in coordination with strategic web marketing services organization Applied Interactive, received a strong response rate, lending additional weight to the findings.
The “Ultimate Question” survey simply asks, “On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being extremely likely, would you recommend Lampin to your friends or colleagues?”
Inspired by research by brand loyalty expert Fred Reichheld, “The Ultimate Question” is considered a reliable litmus test for customer satisfaction and, therefore, company growth.
Customer satisfaction can be difficult to measure accurately, but “The Ultimate Question” metric offers valuable insight into customer experience and a precise basis upon which to calibrate business practices. The resulting NPS provides an accurate customer-satisfaction baseline from which a company can measure and track its progress, as well as compare performance to other companies that publish results.
