Lampin receives the NTMA Safety Award for 2017

Lampin President, Robin LeClaire, accepts the NTMA Safety Award for 2017.

UXBRIDGE, MA, June 21, 2018 – Lampin, a 100% employee owned supplier of precision parts and components for major OEMs in aerospace, telecommunications, robotics and other industries, is proud to announce that it has been selected as a recipient of the NTMA Safety Award for 2017. The requirements to receive this award are based on the OSHA Form 300A, which Federal Law requires companies with more than ten employees to complete and post in a visible location in their plant.

“Safety is important in any workplace, but being in manufacturing there are a lot of accidents that can happen” said Robin LeClaire, President of Lampin. “Lampin takes safety seriously because we want what is best for all of our employee’s health and well-being.”

Any company’s eligibility to receive this award is based on the number of injuries in a calendar year versus the total number of man-hours worked during that period. Any company that receives this award is among the best in the industry in that regard. Lampin is proud to be included on last year’s list of winners. Lampin was chosen, in part, because they take safety very seriously. Employee training on safety protocols and continuous observance of these procedures is a significant focus for all. Their rigorous efforts are one of the major reasons they have such an excellent historical safety rating since the company was founded.

In many ways, this is just another example of Lampin’s dedication to its core mission of going beyond precision to deliver manufacturing and assembly services that exceed both customer expectations and the expectations of their own workforce.
